The Role: In this pivotal role, you will be a catalyst for positive change within this team of accomplished accountants, working closely with our experienced Managers and Directors. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with Managers and Directors to provide proactive counsel and support to your client base.
  • Crafting tax compliance solutions for your designated client portfolio, encompassing income tax, financial statements, BAS, and FBT.
  • Playing a key role in financial modelling, cash flow planning, and budgeting for clients spanning various industries.
  • Establishing effective partnerships and working harmoniously with external referral partners.
  • Assisting in the formulation of Financial Statements.
  • Conducting comprehensive research and delivering well-founded advice.
  • Tax effect accounting.
  • Maintaining direct client communication and participating in client meetings as necessary.
  • Participating in ongoing training opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate: You will embody the following traits and qualifications:

  • Degree qualified, and current enrolment in or qualification as a CA/CPA.
  • 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in tax compliance and a solid grasp of various taxation matters within the Australian Public Practice landscape.
  • A driven individual eager to cultivate a thriving career in Tax and Business Advisory, with a strong desire to learn, be challenged, and benefit from mentorship.
  • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong foundation in technical tax skills.
  • Familiarity with Xero (while not essential, it's a plus)
